Injured Man Utd star doing everything he can to play tomorrow, trained today - Insider

Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko was involved with the first-team at Carrington today and is doing everything he can to feature against Bournemouth tomorrow, according to United insider Sully.

Man United host the Cherries on Monday night and the Slovenian had been expected to be ruled out after he trained individually on grass yesterday.

Sesko had been away from the Red Devils first-team due to an illness but he returned today, participating in some of the training sessions with his teammates.

Benjamin Sesko was involved in a few first-team activities with the squad at Carrington today and didn't train individually like he's been doing this week.

Will be interesting to see if Amorim decides to pick him in the squad tomorrow. He's doing everything he can to be included https://t.co/yzDJDdZOnD

A final assessment will be carried out by the Man United medical team before the game tomorrow to determine whether his availability, but the striker is desperate to return to action.

Sesko has missed the last four Premier League games since he was brought on in the 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur last month.

The 22-year-old has two goals and one assist in 12 appearances for Man United since his big-money move during the last summer transfer window.

The Red Devils are being linked with other strikers already as Sesko has not hit the ground running and delivered the goods as many would have expected.

Man United are eighth in the league table and could do with a win tomorrow as that would see them move into fifth place.

Manager Ruben Amorim has yet to reveal whether Amad Diallo and Bryan Mbeumo will be available for the game due to their involvement with their countries at the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.
