With the prospect of losing all three of Bryan Mbeumo, Noussair Mazraoui and Amad on the day they’re to be released for international duty, Ruben Amorim may have to get creative.

The left flank has been an issue all season. Still, with goal contributions in the last two matches, this area might not be an obvious weakness if the Portuguese international continues to find himself in threatening areas. With Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo set to miss games for AFCON, the likes of Dalot will have to step up in a big way. If it’s a purple patch, the United faithful will be hoping it lasts for another month.
The Brazilian will be the first to admit that the stats haven’t been up to par. The injuries haven’t helped, but he has had his opportunities to get on the scoresheet in the last two games, but has failed to do so. Cunha was a bit of a streaky player at Wolves, and this busy period is the perfect time to go on a streak.
The last two home performances and results have been terribly deflating. Ruben Amorim prematurely spoke of how the performances away from home didn’t match those at home earlier in the season. The performances against Sunderland and Brighton earlier in the season weren’t perfect, but United created a lot of chances in both games. The side needs to get back to playing with that tempo and energy at home.
