Man Utd predicted XI vs Bournemouth with calls over Amad, Bryan Mbeumo, and Noussair Mazraoui

Manchester United’s predicted lineup for the Bournemouth game has a cloud of uncertainty hanging over it, but Ruben Amorim’s decision looks pretty straightforward.

The AFCON trio of Noussair Mazraoui, Bryan Mbeumo, and Amad’s status continues to baffle Man Utd fans after Ruben Amorim refused to clarify it.

There might be a shade of Sir Alex Ferguson in Amorim, adding to the squad selection uncertainty and cause headaches for Andoni Iraola.

IF Amad, Bryan Mbeumo and Noussair Mazraoui aren’t available… who replaces them in each position?🤔

But as the kickoff time gets closer, it is increasingly looking like there is a clear decision to be made on the trio.

Man Utd predicted XI vs Bournemouth

GK – Senne Lammens

Something will have gone seriously wrong if Senne Lammens doesn’t start. No-brainer choice.

CBs – Luke Shaw, Ayden Heaven, Leny Yoro

Luke Shaw is undroppable with Lisandro Martinez still being eased into action. Ayden Heaven is feeling Amorim’s trust and had a great game against Wolves.

Leny Yoro should return to the team to cope with Bournemouth’s pace out wide. With Morocco kicking off AFCON, it’s unlikely that Mazraoui is at Amorim’s disposal for this game.

WBs – Diogo Dalot, Amad

Diogo Dalot is finding form at the perfect moment as the fixture list gets busier, while Amad’s importance to the team was stressed by Andoni Iraola.

Cameroon and Ivory Coast don’t play until December 24, which is almost three days later than Mazraoui’s Morocco, so Amad should be available.

CDMs – Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes

No prizes for guessing the defensive midfield duo either, especially after Amorim doubled down on his Kobbie Mainoo stance recently.

CAMs – Mason Mount and Bryan Mbeumo

Like Amad, Mbeumo should be available, which will be a huge boost for the manager because a Monday night game made things tricky.

Mason Mount will back himself to keep his sterling form going for this game. There’s no reason to take him out of the team and sap away his momentum.

ST – Matheus Cunha

There’s no way Amorim will field Joshua Zirkzee against Bournemouth’s physical centre-backs, which means another stint up front for Matheus Cunha.

He stitches the play together well in a fluid front line, and a potential Benjamin Sesko return will give the attack another dimension off the bench.
