Leeds United and West Ham make contact to sign Manchester United player – He’s not so keen

Joshua Zirkzee didn’t start for Manchester United against Wolves last week. The Dutchman has been linked with a host of clubs in England and Italy. Now, Leeds United and West Ham are being pushed forward again.

Il Messaggero take a look at the 24-year-old’s situation, with AS Roma pushing to land him.

Talks were held between the two clubs some days ago but no agreement has been found with Manchester United. Leeds United and West Ham have also enquired about signing the Netherlands international.

Interest from AC Milan has also resurfaced, even if the Rossoneri don’t have a great relationship with the player’s agent Kia Joorabchian.

According to the Italian newspaper, Zirzkee isn’t enthusiastic about either Leeds United or West Ham. He seems to have his heart set on Roma, who quickly want to beat competition for the forward.

The Italian side want to execute an initial loan deal with an option obligation which will be triggered if they qualify for the Champions League. To make a deal happen, Roma are hoping that Manchester United grant them a discount.

That hasn’t happened yet, with the player’s future still uncertain.
