Harry Amass Aims Dig at Ruben Amorim After Being Called Out by Man Utd Boss
On loan Manchester United left-back Harry Amass has appeared to fire back at Ruben Amorim after the Red Devils boss singled him out alongside two other United youngsters.
Eighteen-year-old Amass, who is currently on loan at Championship side Sheffield Wednesday, made his senior United debut under Amorim in a Premier League fixture away against Leicester City in March of this year.
The London-born youngster has since been loaned to Sheffield Wednesday and has excelled under Henrik Pedersen.
The Yorkshire club are impressed by his performances and wants to hold onto the player despite interest from other clubs.
Amass has featured 16 times for Wednesday so far this term, scoring and assisting once.
And despite seemingly progressing at the Championship side, he could not escape a rather bizarre rant from Amorim during the Portuguese’s pre-match press conference ahead of United’s match against Bournemouth.

After talking about Kobbie Mainoo, Chido Obi and Toby Collyer’s situations, Amorim was asked why Mainoo hasn’t been loaned out despite featuring sporadically this season, to which he replied: “In the end, it's going to be the training, the games.
"Of course. He's not playing so many games, but Kobbie has had opportunities, especially last year. Everyone has.
"Amass is now struggling in the Championship. Chido is not always a starter in the under-21s.
"All these guys played when a lot of people were saying: 'Sack the manager'. So, you can see that I'm not worried."
Fans were quick to leap to Amass’ defence on social media and noted that the full-back won the club’s Player of the Month award for November despite Amorim’s claims that he is “struggling”.
And just a couple of hours later, Amass responded on social media by posting an Instagram story of himself photographed with the award, accompanied by a smiling face emoji.
