The United No 7’s playing spell at Old Trafford has been curtailed by his injury-hit form of recent seasons after his 2023 move from Premier League side Chelsea.

However, Mount has been able to avoid any major injuries in the 2025-26 campaign so far and has been regularly featuring under Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim.

The United midfielder has now netted three times and registered an assist in 13 matches across all competitions in the current season.

The news outlet claims that there has been admiration towards the ‘professional attitude’ that Mount has shown ‘throughout his various recoveries’ at the club.

According to BBC Sport, United insiders have said that Mount has ‘left no stone unturned’ over his desire to overcome his injury-hit spell at Old Trafford.

It has been suggested that the former Three Lions ace is ‘regularly one of the last to leave’ Carrington after having ‘long stints in the ice bath and sauna sessions.’

Mount’s resurgence at United has led to intense speculation over whether or not a reunion with former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel could be on the cards.

Thomas Tuchel managed Mount at Stamford Bridge and is a big admirer of the United star, who has been tipped for an England call-up for the first time since 2022.

However, it remains unclear if Mount could climb back into the England fold under Three Lions boss Tuchel ahead of the 2026 World Cup in North America.

BBC Sport has said that securing a return to the Three Lions national team is not the ‘focus’ of Mount, who is more committed to his United playing spell.

The publication added that the in-form former England midfielder has a ‘drive’ to deliver on his ‘first words’ after his arrival from Chelsea in an initial £55m transfer deal.
