Manchester United player ratings: 'Brilliant' 7.5 shines but 4/10 duo highlight huge issue in…

Amad Diallo and Bruno Fernandes shone as Manchester United drew 4-4 against Bournemouth the Premier League on Monday night. Ruben Amorim made one change to his starting line up with Leny Yoro selected ahead of the absent Noussair Mazraoui.

United enjoyed an electric start to the match, and it wasn't long before they finally got the goal they deserved when Amad headed in on the goal line after an excellent piece of wing play from Diogo Dalot. They should have had more before half-time; however, they were level when Antoine Semenyo capitalised on a poor mistake from Luke Shaw to square the match. United responded well again and led at the break when Casemiro headed in at the back-post to restore their deserved lead.

Bournemouth came out firing and were level within 40 seconds of the restart when Evanilson raced into the box and fired into the bottom corner. Things went from bad to worse when the away side took the lead from a Marcus Tavernier free-kick after a cynical foul from Casemiro.

If the Bournemouth comeback was impressive, United's was even more spectacular. Fernandes drew the game level with a stunning free-kick from the edge of the box before Matheus Cunha completed the comeback when he finished a counter-attack. It looked like United have finally won the match, but there was another twist when Eli Junior Kroupi scored another equaliser to secure a point for his side.

Here is how we rated the United players.

He couldn't do much about the first two Bournemouth goals, but will be frustrated by the manner of their third. Not much of a chance with the fourth. A brilliant save late on to secure a point.

He should have done a bit better for three of the goals. A reminder of what a raw talent he is and how much work there is still to do.

3. Ayden Heaven - 5

A costly mistake for the first Bournemouth equaliser. He was below his recent standards and might have to fight for his place this weekend.
