Manchester United fans singled out Senne Lammens after the Red Devils dropped valuable Premier League points in a thrilling 4-4 Premier League draw against Bournemouth.

The Red Devils hosted the Cherries in Monday evening’s Premier League clash and Manchester United delivered the first blow against Bournemouth at Old Trafford.

Amad Diallo fired United into the lead in the 13th minute before Antoine Semenyo pulled Bournemouth level with a stunning solo effort in the 40th minute.

However, United hit back against Bournemouth only nine minutes after Antoine Semenyo’s equaliser, with Casemiro putting the Red Devils 2-1 up with his header.

Bournemouth rallied back inside the opening 10 minutes after the break and Andoni Iraola’s side stunned Ruben Amorim’s men by taking the lead at Old Trafford.

Evanilson cancelled out Casemiro’s first-half effort to pull Bournemouth 2-2 on the scoreline before Marcus Tavernier put the Cherries 3-2 up from a free-kick.

While a second United fan tweeted: “Lammens’ outstanding saves in the end kept our record safe!”

“Thank you, Senne Lammens, for keeping that half-time record alive,” a third X user commented.

Somebody else said: “If it wasn’t for Lammens, that insane record we have had for [five] decades would have been broken.”

Another claimed: “Senne Lammens has saved the half-time record twice in the last couple mins. Build him a statue.”
