Manchester United 4-4 AFC Bournemouth match verdict and review
The latest Man Utd fixtures news after they drew 4-4 with AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League.
United’s attacking players shone, but their defence was a huge issue as Ruben Amorim's side failed to build upon their comfortable victory over Wolves a week ago. Amad Diallo and Casemiro scored either side of an Antoine Semenyo goal in the first-half, before second-half strikes from Evanilson and Marcus Tavernier were cancelled out by Bruno Fernandes. United looked to have won it through Matheus Cunha before Eli Junior Kroupi rescued a draw for the away side.
Amorim will hope to build upon the victory over the coming weeks as United go in search of European qualification at the end of the campaign. United targeted a top-six finish this season after they finished 15th in the top-flight last time.

Manchester United next five fixtures
Manchester United are back in action when they travel to face Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon. Villa sit third in the table after they twice came from behind to defeat West Ham 3-2 over the weekend.
United then welcome Newcastle to Manchester on Boxing Day, before they play Wolves in another home match four days later. United begin the New Year with trips to face the newly-promoted duo Leeds and Burnley.
Ruben Amorim will hope his side can finish the year on a high and head into 2026 as one of the top-four sides. A top-five finish should be enough for a Champions League place at the end of the campaign, though there are no guarantees given the Uefa coefficient.
