Kobbie Mainoo is a player on the lips of many across the Premier League and Everton have certainly set their sights on him.
Since returning to Merseyside, David Moyes has not shied away from signing outcast players from other clubs and returning them back to their best.
Everton are now just a matter of days away from the January transfer market opening for business and their wish list may well be growing.
There have been some real setbacks for the Blues in recent days, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall suffering a hamstring injury just hours before Idrissa Gana Gueye’s departure.
With a new midfielder on the agenda, Everton are considering a move for Mainoo when the window does open in a couple of weeks.
As more and more speculation grows surrounding the 20-year-old’s future, Manchester United’s stance has now been shared.

Manchester United’s Kobbie Mainoo stance shared with Everton
Mainoo is a player under the spotlight recently due to his lack of game time under United boss Ruben Amorim.
There have been some reports suggesting that United will not allow Mainoo to leave, but the situation at Old Trafford appears to be souring.

According to GiveMeSport, United would consider allowing Mainoo to depart in January, but they have their preferred destination.

“West Ham and Everton are both open to a loan deal for the 20-year-old under the right circumstances, but sources suggest United would ideally prefer to do a deal with a foreign club if a temporary exit is sanctioned,” said journalist Ben Jacobs.
Paul Scholes adores Mainoo and has even suggested he is the closest thing he has seen to Zinedine Zidane.
The youngster’s situation at Old Trafford certainly does not make for pleasant viewing, but it may well help his cause to get a move away from the club.
Everton are going to need midfield additions in January
One thing that is clear is Everton always knew they were going to lose Gueye to the Africa Cup of Nations across December and January.
However, the other injury issues are something that Moyes has been unable to account for.
