Alejandro Garnacho’s time at Manchester United came to a sour end and he only has himself to blame.
Last season, Alejandro Garnacho publicly questioned Ruben Amorim after the Europa League final, frustrated at only playing 20 minutes off the bench.
Reports followed claiming that Amorim told Garnacho to find a new club in brutal fashion, and a £40m move to Chelsea followed in the summer.

Now in London, Garnacho is being exposed at Chelsea, and it seems his mentality about sitting on the bench has taken a very sudden turn in just a few months.

During his time at Old Trafford, Garnacho was dropped for disciplinary reasons and his body language was often criticised on and off the pitch.
But now at Chelsea, it seems Garnacho has accepted his squad role in London after previously kicking up a fuss with Amorim for the same reason.
Garnacho scored twice for Chelsea in their latest 3-1 win over Cardiff City, and he commented after the full-time whistle on his game time.

“Sometimes you start games and sometimes you come from the bench, we don’t focus on this,” Garnacho said.
“We just try to help the team when we need, we’ll try to fight for everything, the semi-final is the next one”.
Garnacho insisted he doesn’t “focus” on whether or not he starts matches, but that wasn’t the case in the Europa League final a few months ago.
Ruben Amorim’s bold Alejandro Garnacho call paid off
Amorim has been criticised for his usage (or lack of) of United’s academy during his first year as head coach.
Selling Garnacho, one of the brightest prospects to emerge from Carrington, was a huge risk. But months down the line there are not many United fans who will argue against the decision.

United upgraded from Garnacho to Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, who have both made impressive starts in Manchester.
Additionally, United no longer have to deal with Garnacho’s attitude issues, with Mbeumo and Cunha both adding more maturity and leadership to the dressing room.
