Dusan Vlahovic is one of the most interesting names for AC Milan as we approach another mercato. However, the Serbian may not be as close as is being made out.
There has been a lot said about Vlahovic in recent months, and with him not arriving at Milan in the summer, it is understandable why. He is still at an impasse with Juventus, and until that is solved, he will remain available next month.
It may not be so simple, though.
Not so close
In recent days, there has been a lot to suggest that he is getting closer to a move to Milano, especially with Barcelona abandoning their pursuit of the 25-year-old. However, it is not as close as it may have seemed.
Today, Fabrizio Romano spoke about his future and the proximity of the Rossoneri, as Radio Rossonera relays.
“We definitely need to confirm that AC Milan continues to like Vlahovic. But from here to saying that Vlahovic already has a solid agreement with the Rossoneri…today, this is not confirmed by all parties involved, both AC Milan and Vlahovic.

“He can leave Juventus for free, and that leaves many options open—one that could lead to Italy, another that could lead abroad. We shouldn’t forget Bayern’s inquiries in October, but they didn’t move forward. Barcelona inquired at the end of October, but that didn’t happen either.”
To many, he would be the dream addition in January or the summer, and if he is affordable, Massimiliano Allegri may push to make it happen.
