How Manchester United could line up if Bruno Fernandes leaves next year with four new signings…

Manchester United insist they have no desire to sell Bruno Fernandes next year, but they won't stand in his way if he asks to leave the club in the summer transfer window.

Fernandes dropped a transfer bombshell this week when he claimed some at the club 'wanted him to go' in the summer transfer window. Saudi club Al-Hilal were prepared to pay a fee in the region of £100 million to sign the Portugal international, while there was also interest from rival Saudi clubs and Europe.

United sources claim Fernandes still has a long-term role to play at Old Trafford and the 31-year-old has stated he will not consider his future until after next summer's World Cup. However, if he requests to leave, United will not stand in the player's way and could reinvest any transfer fee into their first-team squad.

Here is a look at how they could line up if they decide to sell Fernandes.
