That hasn’t stopped Fernandes’ incredible creative output, with the 32-year-old regularly contributing goals, whether it’s scoring them himself or setting them up for his teammates.
Fernandes is next in action on Sunday when United travel to face Aston Villa in the Premier League.

Fernandes felt United wanted to sell him in the summer as revealed in an explosive interview that was released this week despite being conducted during the November international break.
There was a £100m offer on the table from Saudi Arabia, but that wasn’t enough to change Fernandes’ mind about staying at Old Trafford.

Salah has been the subject of transfer speculation ever since and has been tipped to move to his career in Saudi Arabia in 2026.
It remains to be seen if United will be busy in January, but it would be a major shock if the Red Devils accepted an offer for Fernandes midway through the season.
Angelo Stiller seen as potential Bruno Fernandes replacement
The same report claims that VfB Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller remains a United target.
It is noted that the Bundesliga is viewed as a replacement for Fernandes, though he is probably better suited to the number 8 role.
