Aston Villa have announced that there will be a soft opening of their new Warehouse Matchday Fanzone on Sunday.

Just over 12 months ago, Villa unveiled plans to regenerate the North Grounds area of Villa Park, including the creation of a brand-new fan experience zone called the Warehouse.

The dynamic, multi-use venue will become the centrepiece of the matchday experience and a year-round hub for entertainment, the club said.

On matchdays, the Warehouse will transform into the Premier League’s largest beer hall - a vibrant space where fans can gather, enjoy a pint, and soak up the pre-match atmosphere. The venue will feature state-of-the-art LED lighting and flat-screen TVs, with free access for ticketed supporters.

The Warehouse can also be transformed into a concert venue and event space. With a capacity of 3,500, it will host live music and sporting events, as well as community-focused activities.

Currently, the former academy building is still in the process of being transformed, but it will open its doors to a limited number of Villa fans for the first time pre and post-match this weekend, ahead of the game against Manchester United, as part of a testing process.

Opening from 1.30pm and then for approximately 90 minutes after the final whistle, the external plaza and food court will provide food and beverage offerings. There will also be pre-match entertainment from the likes of Nathan Dawe and other DJs.

Villa supporters will need to present their digital match or season ticket to gain entry, which will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
