Premier League Sack Race December 2025

The holiday season is almost here – however, for five managers in the Premier League, Christmas could be cancelled as the sack looms over them.

Today, we’ll be looking at which managers in the Premier League are most likely to be sacked next, using odds from Oddschecker as a point of reference.

Enzo Maresca

A few weeks ago, Chelsea looked like the strongest challengers to Arsenal in the Premier League title race. However, following a lull in form, the Blues are now 4th in the table and find themselves eight points behind the Gunners.

As such, this has led to several sections of their fanbase to begin questioning Enzo Maresca’s managerial ability. Their recent form in the Champions League hasn’t looked much better, as they were beaten by Atalanta in their latest European outing.

Chelsea have won their last two games in all competitions, but the ship still isn’t completely steadied. As things stand, Maresca is 12/1 to be the next manager to lose his job.

Arne Slot

The story of Arne Slot in the 2025/26 season has been like a Shakespearean tragedy. His position is looking a little more secure than it did a few weeks ago, but the Dutchman could still get the boot if he leads Liverpool to another poor run of results.

Thankfully for Slot, Liverpool are currently unbeaten in all competitions since late November – additionally, they have won three of their last five games.

Mohamed Salah’s recent outburst threatened to rock the boat, but things seem to have been smoothed out since, as Salah is now back in the Reds’ squad. Now, Slot is 5/1 to be the next manager sacked.

Daniel Farke

Managing a promoted team in the Premier League is never easy – Leeds United head coach Daniel Farke knows this better than most.

The Whites looked to be in a spot of bother earlier in the season, but a decent run of form has lifted them out of the relegation zone. Additionally, Farke has also breathed life into Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who has found his scoring boots once again.

The 2025/26 season was always going to be a difficult one for Leeds, but Farke seems to have things under control at the moment. He’s 4/1 to be the next in the sack race.

Scott Parker

Burnley, alongside Wolves, are the whipping boys of the Premier League right now. They have lost their last seven Premier League games and now sit six points from safety.

At this such as this, a change at the top is often precipitated. The ice that Scott Parker is standing on grows increasingly thin with each defeat.

Currently, Parker has odds of 7/2 to be the next man to lose his job – if he cannot find a win soon, he may be out of a job before the end of the year.

Thomas Frank

Thomas Frank arrived at Tottenham amid plenty of hype – as top six managers often do – but his efforts have led the Lilywhites into a veritable dead end.

Having won just one of their last six Premier League games and sitting 11th in the league table, there is no getting around it – Frank is in serious jeopardy of being handed his P45.

PaddyPower have Frank at 2/1 to be the next manager to get sacked – following a 3-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest, it isn’t difficult to see why.
