Luke Shaw to leave

Luke Shaw to leave

------------------

**Paul Holleran has confirmed that Luke Shaw is set to depart the football club.**

Luke has made 16 appearances for the club since joining in the summer, but a follow on injury combined to finishing rehab from his initial injury has limited game time.

"After being so delighted to get Luke on board," Holleran said, "It's a massive disappointment that we haven't been able to sustain long term availability due to a number of reasons, largely rehab from his long term injury. Luke's now currently in rehab for a second injury, which is not uncommon following on from the injury he sustained.

"The plan is that he'll drop down a level or two in order to gain match fitness. On a personal note, circumstances like this will always be disappointing. After years of trying to get him to the football club, I know exactly what he can do, we've just stuggled to get him to the levels to play back in the National League - but it's not been for the want of trying from both him and the medical team.

"I'm looking forward to seeing him get back to fitness, getting games and scoring goals."

Everyone at Leamington FC wishes Luke all the best, and him and his family will always be back at the club.
