Manchester United continue to wait on Matthijs de Ligt and Harry Maguire's return from injury
Ruben Amorim has confirmed Manchester United will welcome back no players from injury heading into this Sunday's fixture against Aston Villa.

The boss addressed questions over injuries during , stating: "I think everyone is well, we have one more training but today the rest of the guys are ready to go.
"Nobody recovers and nobody else is out - just the guys you already know."
Without any boosts to boast of, United have already lost , and as the trio join up with their national teams for the , which takes place over the festive period and into January 2026.

Harry Maguire has been sidelined with a thigh injury sustained during United's 2-2 draw against Tottenham on November 8. Matthijs de Ligt is currently dealing with a back injury that has kept him out of the last three fixtures against West Ham, Wolves, and Bournemouth. The injury is not believed to be severe as Amorim previously described it as a "small thing." However, because De Ligt has been a mainstay in Amorim's three-man defence, the club is exercising extreme caution to avoid a long-term setback. After his goal in the 4-4 draw with Bournemouth last Monday, Casemiro received a yellow card for a foul on Marcus Tavernier.
