Cristiano Ronaldo is known for his extraordinarily lavish lifestyle, which includes everything from wearing luxury fashion labels and driving the world's most expensive cars, to owning some of the most breathtaking properties.

The legendary Portuguese forward penned an eye-watering two-year contract worth £492million last summer to stay with Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, pushing his estimated net worth to £1.4billion.

Ronaldo enjoys his wealth alongside his fiancée, Georgina Rodriguez, to whom he proposed in August 2025 after nine years together. They are parents to five children, two of whom are their shared biological children.

Now aged 40, the clock is ticking on Ronaldo's playing career as his family encourages him to retire - something he is refusing to do until he hits 1000 career goals. However, it seems the Manchester United and Real Madrid legend has already planned his next steps post-retirement, including where he will live, as the Manchester Evening News takes a look at his impressive property portfolio.

Cascais retirement mega-mansion - £30million

Ronaldo is set to move into a £30m mega-mansion once he finally hangs up his boots. The sprawling eight-bedroom property has been under construction for three years and is now reportedly finished.

Situated in the exclusive Quinta da Marinha district, a mere 30 miles from Lisbon, Portugal, the property will become Ronaldo's family home once he retires from football. The enormous estate is now one of the largest and priciest homes in the country, spanning 900 square metres.

His family will also have access to several exclusive amenities, such as smart heating, a gym, indoor and outdoor pools, a massage room, tennis court and a cinema.

There's a playground area for his children, while the family can also unwind on their own private beach. The mansion also features solid gold taps, Italian marble and even a Louis Vuitton mural, specially designed for the couple.

One of Ronaldo's most impressive properties is located on his native Madeira and serves as the residence of his mother, Dolores, 71, and brother, Hugo. He purchased a mansion in Funchal, the island's capital, for an undisclosed sum in 2015 and transformed the derelict property into a seven-storey apartment block over four years at a cost of £7m.

His family have access to two Olympic-sized swimming pools, a rooftop pool, a hot tub spa and a small football pitch, as well as a five-car underground garage where Ronaldo can park some of his luxury vehicles.

The property boasts a home cinema, LED-lit driveway and an infinity pool. It's reportedly just down the road from a similar home owned by UFC legend Conor McGregor.

The property, which consists of two adjoining villas, is located on a private road with security guards and is surrounded by private gardens. From its rooftop, one can enjoy stunning views of the beautiful Italian city, while the amenities include a nursery, a gym, grand walk-in wardrobes and a swimming pool.

It remains unclear whether Ronaldo still owns the property or if it has been rented out since his transfer to United in 2021.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed Ronaldo was drawn to the Turin pad because it reminded him of his old home just outside the Spanish capital, in the exclusive La Finca neighbourhood.

Located just down the road from former team-mate Gareth Bale, the modern, stylish property valued at £4.8m was Ronaldo's residence for many of his nine successful seasons with Real Madrid.

Visitors to the 8,600-square-foot home are welcomed by the sight of 'CR' engraved on the front door, while there are a further 32,000 square feet of open space which include a football pitch and a pool.

Ronaldo is understood to have put his former home on the market after leaving Los Blancos in 2018, but it remains unclear whether it has been sold.

He reportedly outbid two tycoons to secure the 3,100-square-foot flat, which boasts three bedrooms, a gym, sauna, indoor and outdoor pool, cinema room, private parking and stunning rooftop views.

Ronaldo also installed a gazebo structure on the roof terrace which led to planning complaints. In 2021, he informed Lisbon City Council that he would remove the structure to avoid a legal dispute with the building's architect.

The United legend is also said to own a flat of unknown value in the Rua Castilho area of Lisbon.
