Manchester United's transfer so far has been dominated by their search for a new manager. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Michael Carrick appear to be the leading contenders to take charge until the end of the season before a new decision is made.
Former boss Solskjaer is set for talks today and will meet director of football Jason Wilcox and chief executive Omar Berrada on Saturday to discuss the role. Darren Fletcher remains in charge for the FA Cup clash with Brighton on Sunday.
But the transfer window stops for no club. While Ruben Amorim indicated United would not see much business this month before being sacked, the Red Devils' name is never far away from a new link.
It may still be six months from the end of Marcus Rashford's loan at Barcelona but his future remains on the agenda. Kobbie Mainoo's next steps also need to be resolved following Amorim's exit.
Mirror Football looks at the latest transfer news and rumours from around Old Trafford.
Rashford playing agent?
Former Barcelona midfielder Gaizka Mendieta reckons that Marcus Rashford could be acting as an agent to set up a move for Kobbie Mainoo to Barcelona. Mainoo has struggled for minutes this season and consistently been linked to a move away.
Ruben Amorim's exit could change his plans but Mendieta would not be surprised if Mainoo and Rashord had been in touch. The Spaniard believes the United youngster would be well-suited to La Liga.
Speaking to BOYLE Sports, Mendieta said: "Could Kobbie Mainoo go abroad and be a success? We’ve seen it happen. Players can go abroad and it motivates them to be successful, Mainoo is an exciting young player and I think La Liga would really suit him.

"He might well have been in contact with Marcus Rashford about joining Barcelona. Who knows if they could play together again, as a football fan, I would be excited to see Mainoo in Spain."
Zirkzee stance
Joshua Zirkzee remains willing to join Roma this month and is pushing to leave Manchester United despite Ruben Amorim’s sacking, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The outlet claims that Roma are prepared to sign Zirkzee from United on loan with an obligation to buy the forward for €38million (£33m) tied to qualifying for the Champions League.

Directors from the Italian capital are said to have continued talks with Zirkzee’s entourage on Thursday and are willing to offer the ex-Bologna star a €3.5m-a-year salary (£3m) until 2030.
Loan greenlit
Gabriele Biancheri has been given the green light to leave Manchester United on loan this month, according to Football Insider. Biancheri, who came through the ranks at Cardiff, has spent time training with United's first team this season.
The 19-year-old has now been told that he can find another club before the transfer window shuts. A handful of EFL sides are claimed to have already registered an interest in the youngster.
