Manchester United and Brighton are gearing up for a challenging FA Cup third round match. Following the recent sacking of Ruben Amorim, Darren Fletcher will take charge of his second United game as both clubs enter the historic cup competition.
The FA Cup represents the last opportunity for United or Brighton to clinch a trophy this season. Several United players will be hoping to channel the spirit of their 2024 FA Cup victory, while Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler will aim to win the famous cup for the first time in the Seagulls' history.
It remains to be seen whether United legend Fletcher will opt to shuffle his squad after their 2-2 stalemate with Burnley earlier this week. The game will also mark the interim boss' first home match in charge.
On the other hand, Brighton demonstrated their quality on Wednesday night, securing a draw against Manchester City. Here's everything you need to know about this FA Cup third round showdown.
