Man Utd vs Brighton LIVE: FA Cup latest score and confirmed lineups

Manchester United’s only hope of silverware this season is the FA Cup with their campaign underway against Brighton.

After Ruben Amorim’s shock departure on Monday, Darren Fletcher has been placed in charge on a short-term basis.

Both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Michael Carrick have held talks with the club over taking on the caretaker role until the end of the season but Fletcher can give his own small hopes of landing that role a significant boost by getting the job done today.

United turned in one of their best performances of the season against Brighton at Old Trafford in October but Fabian Hurzeler’s side did do the double over them last season.

Metro’s LIVE matchday blog will bring you all the build-up, confirmed team news and starting XIs, goal updates and minute-by-minute coverage.
