Benjamin Sesko led the frontline on Sunday evening and the 22-year-old Slovenia striker saw out the full 90 minutes of Manchester United’s defeat to Brighton.

Brajan Gruda broke the deadlock inside the opening 15 minutes of the third-round FA Cup tie before Danny Welbeck netted against his former side in the second half.
Sesko stepped up in the second half and the United summer signing headed home in the 85th minute after connecting with a Bruno Fernandes corner at Old Trafford.
But the Slovenian forward’s efforts were in vain after Shea Lacey was sent off and 10-man Man Utd lost 2-1 to Brighton and crashed out of the FA Cup competition.

Fletcher led United to a 2-2 draw against Burnley in the Premier League clash at Turf Moor on Wednesday evening before suffering his first major setback in the FA Cup.
Speaking to TNT Sports, Ally McCoist insisted that there is “no real belief” in the Red Devils and the performance against Brighton showed it in the second half.
“They had a lot of possession, United, but they didn’t do enough with it,” he said, as per BBC Sport.
“The second goal knocked the stuffing out of them. There’s no real belief in this team.”

“The crowd got going for the Sesko goal, but at the whistle, you can hear a pin drop,” he added.
“There’s an acceptance, now, of where United are and what’s happening.”
United’s entire focus will now shift to the remainder of their Premier League season after their FA Cup campaign started and ended on Sunday evening.
