Official Juventus squad vs Cremonese: 22 players called up, five absent

Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti has called up 22 players for Monday’s Serie A contest against Cremonese.

Despite dropping points in their first match of the year against Lecce, the Bianconeri have been enjoying a solid run in recent weeks, as confirmed by their convincing display in Sassuolo on Tuesday.

However, a second slip-up at home would leave a sour taste in the mouth for the club’s supporters, so anything less than a victory over Jamie Vardy and company will be considered a letdown.

Juventus call up 22 players for Cremonese contest

With only a few hours separating us from the kickoff, Juvenuts unveiled the 22-man squad that will make the trip from Continassa to the Allianz Stadium this evening.

The list includes Lloyd Kelly, who missed the midweek contest due to muscle fatigue. Moreover, 21-year-old Brazilian defender Pedro Felipe has also been called up.

The youngster is a regular with Juvenus Next Gen, but has yet to make his senior debut for the club. However, Spalletti has been adding him to the squad in recent weeks due to the lack of options due to the absence of Daniele Rugani and Federico Gatti.

In addition to the two Italian defenders, the Bianconeri are also without Dusan Vlahovic, who has been on the sidelines since suffering a high-grade lesion in late November. Nevertheless, the Serbian could return to action sooner than expected, potentially as early as mid-February.

Arkadiusz Milik is another striker missing from the squad. The Pole hasn’t featured in a competitive match since hurting his knee in June 2024. He recently made his return to the squad, but has apparently suffered another relapse.

Finally, Francisco Conceicao has been left out for the second match in a row. The Portuguese suffered a slight knock against Lecce, and although tests ruled out any injuries, the medical staff is taking a cautious approach with the winger.
