Bradford City are reportedly in talks over a loan deal for Manchester United forward Ethan Wheatley.
However, it appears the Bantams will be looking to get a replacement through the door before the closure of the January transfer window.

An England youth international, Wheatley has already made four appearances at senior level for the Red Devils. In 2024, he became the 250th Manchester United academy graduate to represent the club’s first team.
He spent the first half of the season on loan at Northampton Town, scoring three goals in 25 appearances before being recalled.
The 19-year-old had a stint on loan at Walsall last season, but was afforded just four outings for the Saddlers.

Kevin Nolan on Ethan Wheatley
Regarding the early end to Wheatley’s spell at Northampton, Cobblers boss Kevin Nolan said: "We are disappointed Ethan has been recalled but we are proud of the work we have done with him and believe he leaves us a far better player than he arrived.
"Because of his injury picked up at Huddersfield in December, we were planning to be without him for a period anyway, but we thank Manchester United for loaning Ethan to us and wish him well for his future career.
"I know he enjoyed himself here, I know his family were appreciative of how we looked after him and I know Manchester United were pleased with how the loan went.”
