Manchester United have less than three weeks to finalise their transfer dealings before the window closes. The club has until February 2 to bring in any new players to bolster their squad for the second half of the campaign.

In the aftermath of Ruben Amorim's departure last week, United have been seeking a replacement to take over for the rest of the season. Darren Fletcher temporarily took the reins for the matches against Burnley and Brighton, but it appears that Michael Carrick is poised to be appointed until the end of the season.

Regarding transfers, United have already been linked with numerous potential new signings, a trend expected to continue in the coming weeks. The club has been consistently linked with signing a midfielder since last summer, and it remains uncertain whether Amorim's exit will alter United's market strategy this month and beyond.

There's also the chance that some United players could depart before the deadline, although this is purely speculative at present. provides an overview of some of the latest United transfer news and rumours from the past 24 hours.

Inter Milan star 'in demand'

United are reportedly interested in securing the services of Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck. According to Inter Live, United are among several Premier League clubs expressing interest in Bisseck this month.

However, signing Bisseck from Inter before the February 2 deadline has been described as "impossible" for United, or indeed any club.

The same report also suggests that Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace and West Ham have registered interest in acquiring the player.

United 'eye' Bruno Fernandes replacement

Fresh reports suggest that United have contingency plans should Bruno Fernandes depart the club. Calciomercato claims that several Saudi Pro League sides are showing interest in Fernandes, with Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr, and Al-Ittihad all mentioned.

Consequently, the report indicates that United have identified Juventus star Kenan Yildiz as their primary target should Fernandes leave Old Trafford.

Yildiz has predominantly featured on the left wing for Juventus this season, though he has also operated as a false nine or on the right wing when required by the Serie A club.
