Manchester United are prepared to back interim manager Michael Carrick in the transfer market.

Ruben Neves is top target
It is now being reported via The Guardian that Manchester United want to sign Ruben Neves from Al-Hilal to add to Michael Carrick’s squad.

With months remaining on his contract, Neves could be available for as little as ÂŁ20 million.

United did not back previous interim managers
Manchester United did not back previous interim managers in the transfer market.
