Luis Enrique is on Manchester United's next manager shortlist as club chiefs hunt for their next permanent boss.
Michael Carrick is taking over until the end of the season as interim head coach, and the Old Trafford top brass are putting together a list of targets to take charge on a full time basis in the summer. England boss Thomas Tuchel, Mauricio Pochettino and even Carlo Ancelotti are being considered, along with Paris Saint-Germain chief Enrique.
United's owners are ready to learn from the pains of the Ruben Amorim experiment and go for someone with experience who can handle the huge pressure and expectation that comes with being in the hotseat at the 20-time English champions.
After Amorim, United chiefs know they need to hire someone with a 'winning pedigree'. And the PSG boss fits the bill.
The Spaniard has been in the top job at Barcelona, PSG and taken charge of his country, and has won some of the game's biggest trophies.
The 55-year-old won nine major trophies with Barca, including the Champions League in 2015. He has won 10 more with the French giants, including a second Champions League last season, when PSG thrashed Inter Milan 5-0 in one of the competition's most one-sided finals ever.
The Spaniard's contract situation is in question in Paris too. In June, he will be entering the final 12 months of his deal at the Parc des Princes and there has not been any agreement on a new contract this far. That would mean United would not have to pay PSG major compensation.
There has also been growing speculation that he could leave this summer, that his time in Paris is coming to a natural conclusion. That has been denied by Enrique but hasn't gone away.
The big question, if indeed he does leave PSG, is whether United can lure him to Old Trafford, considering the current state of the club, and the size ahead that awaits any new manager.
