Noussair Mazraoui now emerges as one of two targets for elite Serie A club while away with Morocco at AFCON 2025

Manchester United and Morocco defender Noussair Mazraoui now has growing transfer interest from one Serie A side in Italy, according to stunning reports.

Noussair Mazraoui has not played for Manchester United since December after the former Ajax and Bayern Munich star was called up for the AFCON 2025 tournament.

Morocco are the host nation of this edition of the Africa Cup of Nations and the Atlas Lions have reached the semi-finals, with Mazraoui a key part of the Morocco squad.

The AFCON 2025 hosts will face Nigeria on Wednesday evening and Morocco could face Senegal or Egypt in the final if they overcome their tough semi-final test.

Mazraoui featured in Man Utd’s 4-1 demolition of Wolves in the Premier League clash at the Molineux in late 2025 before linking up with his Morocco teammates.

Mazraoui has impressed at United at times and the 28-year-old Morocco international continued to play under Ruben Amorim this season.

According to Sky Sports Italia, Gianluca Di Marzio reported that former Ajax and Bayern Munich player Mazraoui is now on the radar of Serie A side Juventus.

Juventus are exploring a new right-back option and Mazraoui has become a potential “target” for the Old Lady amid their interest in another defensive option.

Juventus have their eyes on Man Utd defender Noussair Mazraoui and Celta Vigo’s Oscar Mingueza

Mazraoui is one option for the Serie A outfit amid the January transfer window, with Juventus also keeping tabs on Celta Vigo and Spain defender Oscar Mingueza.

Sky in Italy even reported that Juventus sporting director Marco Ottolini was in Spain at the weekend and saw Oscar Mingueza in action in Celta Vigo’s 1-0 La Liga defeat.

Mingueza is out of contract with the La Liga side in the summer and the Juventus-linked defender has attracted interest from Premier League side Aston Villa as well.

It has been reported that Juventus could try to beat Aston Villa in the race to sign the 26-year-old Spanish defender in January instead of waiting for the summer.
