Michael Carrick's inaugural training session as Manchester United's interim manager may have provided some hints about what's to come.
Since his temporary appointment was announced, the former United midfielder has taken the reins at Carrington for the first time. He was able to welcome back Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo, who returned from the Africa Cup of Nations after Cameroon were ousted by host nation Morocco, and Ivory Coast fell to Egypt in the quarter-finals.
Carrick was joined by his assistants Steve Holland and Jonathan Woodgate, while first team coaches Jonny Evans, Travis Binnion and Craig Mawson also participated. With the Manchester derby at Old Trafford looming this weekend, they don't have much time to prepare.
However, there seemed to be some indications of what to anticipate - the Daily Star took a peek at what these might be.
