The Manchester United loanee left the Premier League club on deadline day last September and is on a season-long loan at defending Serie A champions Napoli.
Napoli’s deal for Hojlund includes an obligation to make the Denmark striker’s move permanent for £38m if certain conditions are met in the 2025-26 Serie A season.
One of the aforementioned conditions includes the Naples-based club securing a return to the Champions League for the 2026-27 Serie A campaign.

Speaking ahead of Napoli’s latest outing against Parma, Napoli boss Antonio Conte insisted that Hojlund had already shown the “potential” that he could improve.
“Rasmus is a player who has improved so much since he first arrived,” he said, as per TribalFootball.
“He is 22 years old, we saw great potential in him, but inevitably these lads need to be coached by people who can improve them, teach them how to work for the team, the positioning, when to go towards the ball and when to attack the space.”

Conte took a swipe at former United manager Amorim by suggesting the Red Devils were not fully tapping into Hojlund’s ability in the same way as Napoli have done.
“Our job is to keep improving all the players and make them better than when they first arrive[d],” he added.
Amorim’s reign at Man Utd ended last week after the 40-year-old former Sporting CP manager was sacked by the Premier League club.
