Leeds United have reportedly registered interest in signing Manchester United prospect Edward Ibrovic-Fletcher.
An attacking midfielder, Ibrovic-Fletcher was born in Leeds but has cut his teeth across the Pennines in Manchester United’s youth system.
The 17-year-old signed a scholarship deal with the Red Devils earlier this year and made his debut for the club’s Under-18s in May.
However, it has been suggested a homecoming of sorts could be on the cards for the Serbia youth international.

Leeds United linked with Manchester United prospect
According to Football Insider, Leeds have registered an interest in taking him back to the city of his birth.
Manchester United, meanwhile, are said to be open to letting him depart this month.
The report has also indicated Ibrovic-Fletcher is ready to find a new club in order to accelerate his development.
Leeds have a prestigious academy but competition within it is arguably not as stern as it is in Manchester United’s set-up.
Ibrovic-Fletcher may be of the view there is a clearer pathway to the first team back in the city of his birth.
Daniel Farke’s use of young players
Whites boss Daniel Farke is reluctant to throw too many youngsters in at the deep end of senior football but has promoted some prodigies during his time in charge at Elland Road.
Scotland youth international Sam Chambers, meanwhile, has also been around the first team.

Ibrovic-Fletcher would be able to play for Leeds Under-18s, although could also find himself in the Under-21s set-up if he made the move to West Yorkshire.
Leeds’ second string side lifted the National League Cup last season and currently sit 12th in the 29-team strong Premier League 2.
