
Ellen Wangerheim holds the Swedish Cup after the final between Hammarby and Norrkoping Peter SonanderSPP
**Man Utd Women have signed Swedish international forward Ellen Wangerheim from Hammarby IF, where she had played for six years.**
With Hammarby she won the OBOS Damallsvenskan title and Swedish Cup, while on the international stage her debut for the senior Sweden squad came in April 2024.
**Wangerheim, who signed a three-year contract, told [manutd.com](http://www.manutd.com):** _“I am so excited. It feels amazing to be here. It’s a huge club with big history._
_“So sitting here in this shirt is a proud moment for me. It’s always been my dream to move abroad and to play in another country, in Europe and in a really big football club.”_
