Oliver Glasner has confirmed he will leave Crystal Palace at the end of the season in search of a new challenge.
Speaking at a press conference today, Glasner has now made it clear that his two-year spell in south London will come to an end this summer.

He said: “I had a meeting in October with Steve Parish - we had dinner and a long talk. I told him I will not sign a new contract for Crystal Palace.
“We agreed it was best to keep it between us, confidentially, and we did for three months. I told the team today. It’s now important to have clarity.

“I don’t want to have this question around. We have had a very busy schedule. Steve and I want the same thing. It’s important to be clear. That’s what the players deserve and what the fans deserve.”
Glasner joined Palace after two seasons in Germany with Eintracht Frankfurt and quickly made history at Selhurst Park. He guided the Eagles to the FA Cup last summer, delivering the club’s first major trophy in 70 years.
This season’s competition told a different story, however, with Palace knocked out in the third round by non-league Macclesfield.
Glasner is now among the leading candidates to take over at Manchester United after the sacking of Ruben Amorim earlier this month. Former Red Devils midfielder Michael Carrick has been placed in temporary charge until the end of the campaign.
Man United’s board are expected to make a permanent appointment in the summer, with Glasner viewed as a strong contender to succeed Carrick in the interim.
