Everything you need to know about Oliver Glasner's Crystal Palace exit and his potential next move
Official statement: Oliver Glasner confirmed on Friday that he will be leaving Crystal Palace following the expiration of his contract in June.
New challenge: The Austrian highlighted that he wants something fresh to work on after Palace. He said: "I told Steve [Parish] I’m just looking for a new challenge."
Transfer window 'not the issue': Glasner cited no problems with the club's transfer business and insisted this had nothing to do with his exit. He said: "I told him in October, it’s nothing to do with the transfer window. I hate if something is written or said which is not true, and it was very tough for me not to respond. We have a great relationship, and we’re always talking about what is best for Crystal Palace."
No talks yet: The 51-year-old also confirmed he has not entered into any talks with potential suitors. Glasner said: "I haven’t spoken to any other club, I told the players that and promised them today I will give my best to give the best season in Crystal Palace history, the best points tally in history."
Glasner's next club? Manchester United are the big name heavily linked with Glasner. With interim manager Michael Carrick stepping in until the end of the season at Old Trafford, it almost looks lined up for the Austrian to take the reins in Manchester.
From south to north London? Tottenham Hotspur have also been tipped to have a look at Glasner as Thomas Frank continues to struggle in north London.
Merseyside move?Bookmakers also had the Palace boss as a potential replacement for Arne Slot if his nightmare run at Liverpool continued, but the current Premier League champions have begun to settle in form.
