This week, it has been reported that the club is finalizing the deal to bring Leonard Ngenge; the young defender was seen on social media posting about training at Thorp Arch.
The Nigerian might soon be joined by Manchester United youngster Edward Ibrovic-Fletcher according to reports. Football Insider have revealed that Leeds United are ready to offer the Serbia youth international a move to Elland Road. The teenager has featured for Manchester United’s U18 side this season, but is said to be keen on a move elsewhere to accelerate his development.
49ers must focus on fixing the current squad first
Planning for the future is not a bad policy at all; this summer, Leeds brought in youngsters who had played at Manchester City and Liverpool. The plan is definitely to bring up some talents to see if they are a good fit to make the first team in the coming years.
But this month, the ownership need to focus on getting the job done in the January window. Getting Buonanotte was a good deal, and now they need to focus on adding a striker and potentially another defender, looking at the current depth in the team.
