Manchester United put in a brilliant performance to beat Manchester City 2-0 at Old Trafford, to put themselves firmly back into the top-four race.
Michael Carrick - in the dugout for the first time since being named interim boss - watched his side deliver a commanding performance with Bryan Mbeumo and Patrick Dorgu netting goals in the second half to secure a well-deserved win.
United dominated the match, creating superior opportunities in the first half. Gianluigi Donnarumma was kept busy with a series of impressive saves to keep City in contention, before United ultimately grabbed the goals they deserved.
