Everton have somehow been dragged into the mess over at Manchester United by Roy Keane.
The Toffees are facing their own issues currently as David Moyes attempts to navigate his depleted squad.
Now three games into the New Year and Everton are still in search of their first victory.
On the back of their managerial change, Man United stormed the Manchester Derby on Saturday, with a stunning win over Pep Guardiola’s side.
Keane does not fancy Everton to beat Aston Villa this weekend, but he still managed to bring up the Blues ahead of the game at Old Trafford.
Although United sit well above Everton in the table, Keane name dropped the Toffees during one of his blockbuster rants live on air.

“I always make the point that when Man United rang Everton about Wayne Rooney, do you think they David Moyes went: ‘Oh he’s available, you can have him, of course lads, you can have him on the cheap’,’ said Keane.
“They went: ‘He’s not available.’ But what you do as a big club because we sit there every week saying: ‘Man United are the greatest. Man United are this and that.’ You make somebody available’. Go get a manager who might be in a job.”
Moyes admitted he’d love Rooney back in his Everton side as the Toffees continue their search for a prolific striker.
The 40-year-old could potentially even join Moyes’ coaching staff in the hope of helping the strikers find their shooting boots.
David Moyes can still recall his first words to Wayne Rooney
Rooney did not enjoy as much time as many fans would have hoped for at Goodison Park before he was snatched away by Man United.
However, Moyes can still remember his first words to Rooney after watching him play in Everton’s youth set-up.

“I do remember the first time I saw Wayne Rooney. It was actually a semi-final of the FA Youth Cup, I think they were playing Tottenham and Wayne was playing,” said Moyes.
“I was actually up in the gantry at Goodison Park watching it from up there. I came down after the game and the boys were on the pitch doing a cool down.
“I went over and said to him [Rooney]: ‘You’ll be with me next season.’
Although some fans may not love the analogy that the former United midfielder used during the Sky broadcast, he has had some positive words to say about the club previouly.
Keane hailed Everton’s away support as the best around as he showed his respect to the Toffees.
