Patrick Dorgu showed his class on the pitch in the Manchester Derby – and off it afterwards.

There were a lot of questions over how Manchester United would line up against City in Michael Carrick’s first game in charge.

Carrick’s team selection showed he wanted width, with Patrick Dorgu asked to play a left winger role, with Luke Shaw behind him at left-back.

Evra among the greats

United club legend Patrice Evra was recently voted as the best left-back at the club over the past 25 years.

United fans on TalkingPoints named the best team to play for the club between 2000 and 2025, which featured one current player, Bruno Fernandes.

Patrice Evra won the vote for the left-back position quite easily.

Dorgu is still finding his best position for United, able to play on the wing and at left-back.

While United have Luke Shaw available, Dorgu could get more chances in an attacking role, especially if he plays like he did against City.
