Man Utd blew away rivals Man City on Saturday afternoon as Michael Carrick got off to a flying start to his tenure as interim manager.
The Red Devils had two goals ruled out for narrow offsides in the first half before Bryan Mbeumo put the home side into a deserved lead 20 minutes into the second half after a lightning counter-attack.
Patrick Dorgu made it 2-0 ten minutes later with an excellent finish from a Matheus Cunha cross. Mason Mount could have put the icing on the cake in injury time, but he was also denied by the offside flag.
