Brooklyn Beckham accuses David and Victoria
Brooklyn Beckham has broken his silence on his feud with his parents, Victoria and David Beckham, saying that he has no plans to reconcile with them. He claims that they have been spreading lies in the media and have been constantly trying to ruin his relationship with his wife.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, January 19, Brooklyn said he did not want to discuss his personal issues in public, but that he has been left with no other choice. He accused his parents of trying to control his life, and he has decided to stand up for himself.
"I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed."
"I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life. Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they'll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out."
Brooklyn went on to claim that he grew up with overwhelming anxiety, which has disappeared since he moved away from his parents.
Brooklyn Beckham accuses David and Victoria of using his brother in feud
David and Victoria Beckham have never acknowledged the feud in public, but their son Cruz broke the silence in December when he hit back at a Daily Mail article. The publication claimed that Brooklyn was unfollowed by his parents on social media, but Cruz revealed that they were blocked, just like the rest of the family. He posted on Instagram:
"Not true. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son … Let's get the facts right. They woke up blocked … as did I.”
Brooklyn has now claimed that he was blocked by his parents on social media and they were using his younger brother to attack him.
"Sent to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last summer."
The BBC has reported that they contacted the former Manchester United and Real Madrid footballer and his wife, a former Spice Girl, for a comment, but they have yet to issue a response after being accused by their son.
