Tyler Fredricson is set for a January loan

After a dream end to last season, earning a debut for United, this season has been a nightmare for Tyler Fredricson.

Fredricson was part of the Grimsby defeat, getting hooked at half-time, looking completely off the pace, and has since played just two minutes of first-team football.

Now, with Fredricson unlikely to play in a back four, sitting as the sixth choice, the youngster is set to leave on loan, according to The Athletic.

It is explained that several clubs in both the EFL and the top divisions in Europe have registered interest in Fredricson, with his opportunities and exposure to the first team set to be severely limited by the system change.

United still regards Fredricson highly and believes he would really benefit from playing regular football at this stage in his career.

Proposals are expected to soon arrive at United, and it is vital that they get it right.

Ethan Wheatley is also expected to get a January loan move

Fredricson is an obvious loan move for United to complete, and he won’t be alone.

Striker Ethan Wheatley is closing in on a move to join Bradford City to see out the season, according to the same report.

Wheatley is another graduate, but he has struggled over the past few years as he has failed to really impress on loan.

Amass will also be on the move, with his destination yet to be decided, although Stoke are one interested party.
