Youri Tielemans insists he’s “not thinking about anything else” but Aston Villa, as he responded to claims he would be perfect for Real Madrid.

But he also admits he would “definitely consider” moving to another club if he received an attractive offer.

Tielemans is enjoying yet another impressive season at Villa Park, playing a key role in helping Unai Emery’s side to third in both the Premier League table and Europa League league phase table.

His form has previously prompted Belgian broadcaster Filip Joos to say he could grace the Bernabeu.

Speaking to Belgian broadcaster sporza, Tielemans laughed: "I also received that statement from Filip Joos. They're nice words from him, but I've never been there. So I wouldn't know what it's like there."

"For me, Aston Villa is already the top,” he added. “We're already performing at a high level and have the ambition to go even higher. I'm really not thinking about anything else at the moment.

"If something came my way, I would definitely consider it. Things can move quickly in football. But my agent is responsible for that. I try not to think about it too much myself."
