Source reveals what really happened at son of Man Utd legend's wedding amid inappropriate…

A source close to the Beckham family has revealed what really happened at Brooklyn’s wedding following claims that Victoria danced “inappropriately” in an attempt to interrupt his first dance with wife Nicola Peltz. The Beckham family feud had been simmering for several months before Monday afternoon’s bombshell statement from Brooklyn saw tensions finally reach boiling point.

Having previously stated that he wanted any reconciliation efforts to remain private after blocking his family - including his Manchester United legend father David Beckham - Brooklyn went nuclear on social media to break his silence on the issues he says he faced growing up. His six-page Instagram story detailed how he felt controlled during his upbringing, claimed the Beckhams’ “perfect family” image was a facade, and explained how he is now standing up for himself by distancing himself from the rest of the family. See the full statement below:

Much of his post also defended his wife and outlined the lengths he claims his parents went to in order to make Peltz feel unwelcome. “My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, shape, or manipulation,” Brooklyn added, before making a series of eyebrow-raising claims about what occurred on his wedding day regarding an inappropriate dance.

But those close to Victoria, 51, insist she was just “a tad tipsy and having fun.” A friend told The Sun: “Brooklyn was so embarrassed and his wife so humiliated and furious to have been upstaged. She made her feelings very, very clear on the day. It soured the whole evening. [But] there was absolutely no malice there [from Victoria]; quite the opposite. This has utterly broken her.”

Beckham Family Source Recounts Brooklyn's Wedding Day

Another source close to the Beckhams had a similar account of how things panned out, as questions have been raised about how reliable Brooklyn's perception of things were. The second source said, as per the tabloid newspaper:

“Nicola didn’t want him to dance with his mum at all – so kicked off about it. But all the guests had so much fun and they were lapping it up. It was a brilliantly fun moment and no one there raised any concerns. The fact it’s coming out now seems baffling if you’re David and Victoria."

The 500 wedding guests had to hand in phones, in return for flip devices which could only take photos. Only one video of the dance is believed to be in existence - filmed by the official videographer, and later given to Brooklyn and Nicola, meaning the chances of it ever seeing the light of day are very slim.

David Refuses To Address Drama in First Appearance Since Statement

Initially, it appeared as though it was Brooklyn that wanted family issues to stay private while his parents regularly spoke about their relationship with their son in the media. But the tables have seemingly turned since his series of accusations came to light, with David shying away from cameras in his first public appearance since his eldest son's bombshell comments. Watch below:

The former England international seemed to indirectly address his relationship with his children during an interview about social media's pros and cons, but refused to entertain any questions about Brooklyn at the World Economic Forum in Davos, with Sky cameras being turned away as Beckham left in the above video.
