The 2025/26 season has been an undeniable success so far for Harry Amass, after he shone in a chaotic Sheffield Wednesday environment on loan from Manchester United.
It is a testament to Harry Amass‘ maturity and ability that he was able to move to the Hillsborough Stadium and shine despite the club around him crumbling.
Manchester United were thrilled with Amass’ performances, standing out in a team already more than likely relegated, shining offensively and defensively, proving himself at a high level.
After the success, Amass’ Wednesday loan ended earlier this month, and United didn’t renew the deal, instead taking offers for a follow-up loan.
Now a decision has finally been taken on where the Carrington graduate will spend the remainder of this season.

Harry Amass is close to securing his second loan of the season
Last month, it was claimed that United’s phone was ringing off the hook with Amass interest, which always made it unlikely that Wednesday would retain him.
Now, according to BBC Sport’s Sheffield Wednesday correspondent Andy Giddings on X, Amass ‘definitely’ won’t be making a return to South Yorkshire.

Instead, Amass is heading to Norfolk to aid Norwich City in their battle against relegation from the Championship, with the deal ‘close’.
Additionally, Sky Sports’ Anthony Joseph has reported that Amass is actually set to undergo a medical on Thursday, January 22nd, ahead of joining the yellow and green-wearing outfit.
Amass will get plenty of game time for Norwich and in a better functioning side than he had at Wednesday.

Travis Binnion can advocate for Amass’ Manchester United future
Under Ruben Amorim, the future of Amass was sure to have been away from Old Trafford, due to not suiting the system. In addition, Amorim and Amass had a public spat.
However, the prospects of the teenager now look much better as one of Michael Carrick’s coaches, Travis Binnion, has picked Amass as first team ready, which is a big endorsement.
Whether Binnion is involved in the first team beyond this season or not, Amass is sure to get recommended to the next head coach, which might yet be Carrick.
Amass is the natural successor to Luke Shaw, and another successful spell with Norwich might be enough to earn the role from next summer onwards.
