Manchester United supporter group 'the 1958' have revealed plans for another demonstration against the Glazer family and Sir Jim Ratcliffe during the home fixture with Fulham - with more than 6,000 expected to participate.
This weekend sees Michael Carrick's team head to the Emirates Stadium to take on Premier League leaders Arsenal. However, during the following home encounter against the Cottagers, there will be a show of defiance aimed at the Glazers and minority stakeholder Ratcliffe, who has been supervising the football operations at Old Trafford.
The Glazers have faced hostility from United faithful ever since their takeover in 2005, whilst discontent has also grown towards Ratcliffe following his acquisition of 27.7% of the club through a £1.6billion transaction. With anger continuing to simmer amongst the supporter base, the 1958 have confirmed additional demonstrations targeting the United hierarchy.

A representative for the 1958 declared: "Jim Ratcliffe chose to get into bed with the Glazers and, in our opinion, is helping to keep them in charge. Twenty-one years of a debt mountain, mismanagement and financial greed is 21 years too long. Enough is enough."
They further stated: "We will not be complicit. Jim Ratcliffe, you have chosen your side, and it is not ours. You now stand shoulder to shoulder with the Glazers. You are no saviour.
"For many, you come across as a clown, fumbling from one disaster to another, hopelessly out of your depth at one of the world's greatest football institutions, adored by millions. We were promised best in class, but for us the club is a laughing stock resembling a circus, and that includes the new stadium design."

Elaborating on their decision to demonstrate, they added: "Earlier this season, we asked supporters if they wanted to protest. Many chose to give Ratcliffe time.
"That time has been squandered. The situation is undeniably worse. We beat City, but one swallow does not make a summer. This is not about Carrick and results. It is about our ownership.
"We have been down this path of false hope too many times. History shows what happens at our club with the dysfunctional ownership model we have. They are like a boomerang, and we cannot move on until they are gone."

The organisation has also suggested they anticipate "well over the estimated 5,000-6,000 who marched peacefully against Arsenal last May" and "the biggest ever protest against Manchester United's owners, for the first time also officially directed at Sir Jim Ratcliffe".
United's latest win against City propelled the Red Devils to fifth place, which might secure Champions League qualification depending on how English sides fare in European tournaments this campaign. In March last year, Ratcliffe supported Ruben Amorim, only to dismiss him at the beginning of 2026.

The club are on the hunt for a third permanent manager having already given Erik Ten Hag and the Portuguese boss their marching orders. Carrick has made a promising start, but his stint in the dugout is only anticipated to last until the end of the season.
