Man United have sent various players out on loan for this season, from Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho to Ethan Williams.
At the half way mark in the season, lets check up on how they are performing in their respective leagues.
Marcus Rashford
After being outlawed by Ruben Amorim, Rashford was loaned out for this season to LaLiga holders FC Barcelona. With eight goals and eight assists this term, and matching his best Champions League season with six goal contributions, Rashford is back to his best in Spain.
Winning the Spanish Super Cup this month and still competing on all fronts with Blaugrana, Rashford will hope to add some more trophies to his cabinet this season. The former Man United Player of the Year has been in and out the team, and is competing for a place with Lamine Yamal and Raphinha.
It is unclear whether Barcelona will activate his £25 million buy clause, with recent reports suggesting officials at the club are pleased with his performances. However, the door to a United return is not closed, with a new manager expected for next season.
A fellow member of Amorim's "bomb squad", Sancho moved on loan to Aston Villa after failing to impress enough to get a move to Chelsea last season. The former English international has struggled for gametime under Unai Emery this season, failing to register a goal contribution in 18 appearances.
Sancho has started just twice this season, as he competes for his place in a high performing Aston Villa side. His standout performance would be in the Europa League against Young Boys in a 2-1 win.
There is no transfer fee attached to this loan move, so Sancho will return to the club at the end of the season as he seeks a move away.
Rasmus Hojlund managed to get a loan move to Serie A holders Napoli for this season after falling out of favour at United. He links up with former Man United teammate and Player of the Year Scott McTominay in Naples.
So far this season, the Dane has notched in nine goals in 26 games, starting almost every game he can in Italy. Becoming a regular part of the Azzuri front line, Hojlund has struggled for goals as of late with a six game scoring drought.
There is a reported £45 million purchase clause attached to the loan move, but it depends on Napoli qualifying for the Champions League.
Another player who fell out of favour under Amorim, Onana moved to **Trabzonspor**in Turkey following two difficult seasons in Manchester. The Cameroonian has found his feet in southern Europe, putting in strong performances against **Galatasaray**and Fenerbahce.
Overall, Onana has only kept three clean sheets in 14 appearences, but has helped Trabzonspor sit in third in the Super Lig.
There is also no fee attached to this loan move, and reports suggest that the goalkeeper will hope to return to the Red Devils and fight for the number one shirt.
One of the best goalkeepers in the Championship, Vitek has performed well for playoff outsiders Bristol City this season. Keeping eight clean sheets and preventing 3.09 goals, Vitek is an instrumental part of the Robins' season.
Recently going viral on social media for a save of the season contender against Ipswich, the Czech will hope to return to United this summer and fight for a place in the first team after the third loan move of his career.
One of the standout Carrington performers in the EFL this season, Amass has been a star in a struggling Sheffield Wednesday team. One of the best performing left-backs in the Championship, the England U19 international has scored once and assisted once this season.
Making seven appearances for the United first team last season, Amass will hope to return to the club next season with minutes under his belt to compete with Luke Shaw for the left-back position.
He has since been recalled from Sheffield and will be sent to fellow second tier strugglers **Norwich**for the remainder of the season.
Currently in his second season on loan at Rotherham, Gore has been a regular player for the League One strugglers this season. Despite that, the midfielder has put in consistent decent performances for the Millers.
At 21-years-old, Gore could struggle to break into the United midfield anytime soon, so it may be time to part ways with the Englishman.
Ethan Williams
A key player in the United academy, Williams is currently out on loan in Scotland with Falkirk. With one goal and three assists this season, Williams is a key part of the team's current sixth place standings in their first season in the **Premiership**since 2010.
Enzo Kana-Biyik
Signed from Le Havre in the summer, Kana-Biyik was sent out to INEOS-owned **Lausanne**for the season. In and out the team, the 19-year-old has struggled for game time in Switzerland.
The best of the rest
Toby Collyer has been recalled from his loan move to West Brom after just three league starts. He will be sent out to high flying Hull City for the rest of the season.
Ethan Wheatley scored three goals in 22 games for Northampton Town in League One but has also been recalled.
Joe Hugill's loan move to **Barnet**has ended after failing to score in just five games. The former academy showman may be on the way out of United permanently.
Young centre-back Louis Jackson has been struggling for gametime in the National League at Solihull Moors.
