Casemiro has confirmed that he will be leaving Manchester United at the end of this season, prompting plenty of reaction from the footballing world.
It was expected to be a big topic over the next few months, but to avoid a contract saga, Casemiro broke the news on Thursday.
After nearly four years at the club, Casemiro has announced he is leaving Manchester United, with his contract set to expire in June.
This brings to an end Casemiro’s eventful four years in which he won silverware on two occasions, played in four finals, and made himself an unforgettable cult hero.
While he will be missed, Casemiro’s exit will also bring winners at United, given it is the correct time. However, this hasn’t stopped his teammates, both for United and elsewhere, from reacting.

Lisandro Martinez sends a passionate message to Casemiro amid Manchester United exit confirmation
Undoubtedly one of the greatest midfielders of the 21st century, United have been completely blessed to have had Casemiro at the club.
Bruno Fernandes responded to the news by admitting he felt lucky to have played next to the Brazil captain, and now Lisandro Martinez has shared a message of his own.

After the news had broken, Martinez took to his Instagram story, reposting the announcement and adding a message of his own as a caption.
“It was a pleasure Case!!! I learned many things by your side, leadership, companionship, humility, work, personality, respect, and above all, enjoying playing football (the ball doesn’t burn). I love you”.
This message from Martinez shows exactly the impact a player like Casemiro has, teaching his teammates, and hopefully, the Argentine can take up the leadership mantle.

Neymar called Casemiro the world’s best in 2022, with the pair close, and the Santos forward sent a clapping emoji to react to this news.
