Michael Carrick will address the media this afternoon ahead of Manchester United's trip to Arsenal for a Premier League clash
Manchester United interim head coach Michael Carrick will be back in front of the media this afternoon with plenty to discuss ahead of Sunday's trip to Arsenal in the Premier League.

Carrick may have been preparing himself for questions on Casemiro's future this afternoon but after United's statement on Thursday evening, the response should be easier for him. The midfielder will leave the club at the end of this season and United will be needing to replace him in the summer transfer window. Speaking of transfer windows, Carrick could also be asked about potential midfield incomings this month now we know Casemiro will leave the club. United's stance has been to leave spending for the summer but it remains to be seen if this stance will change following the midfielder's confirmed departure.
