Casemiro has sent a heartfelt message to Manchester United fans ahead of the former Real Madrid midfielder leaving the Premier League club in the summer.
The 33-year-old Brazilian midfielder left Real Madrid in 2022 and completed a blockbuster transfer to Old Trafford, with the Red Devils paying an initial £60m fee.

Casemiro deeply impressed in his debut Manchester United season under former Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag, who was sacked by the Premier League club in 2024.
However, the former Madrid ace subsequently saw a sporadic run of form after his first season at the Red Devils, despite remaining a key United first-team player.
Casemiro continued to play an important role after Erik ten Hag’s sacking as Man Utd manager and rediscovered his form under Ruben Amorim last season.

Manchester United confirmed that Casemiro would be leaving Old Trafford at the end of the 2025-26 season after not triggering his 12-month contract extension.

Casemiro had entered the final six months of his existing deal in January and the Brazil international has been linked with clubs in Saudi Arabia in the past.

The ex-Los Blancos star can now speak with teams outside of England and sign a pre-contract agreement ahead of his summer exit at the end of the current season.
Speaking to Manchester United’s official website, Casemiro insisted that a special memory for him will be the song and chant that United fans created for him at the club.
“It isn’t a goodbye, it is just a chapter in my life, I will always be with Manchester United,” he said.
“Thank you, thank you, everyone, that made this time in my life so special, especially the fans. I will never forget my song! Thank you very much.”

What was the song that Man Utd fans sing about Casemiro and the catchy chant made for him?
Even before Casemiro kicked the ball as a Man Utd player, Red Devils supporters had already created a song around the five-time Champions League winner.
During the 2022-23 Premier League season, United fans celebrated Casemiro by using Status Quo’s ‘Rockin’ All Over The World’ to make up one of his chants.
The Red Devils kept the bulk of ‘Rockin’ All Over The World’ and replaced the final line with the following sentence: “Here we go, Bruno [Fernandes] and Casemiro.”
Casemiro’s chant further evolved into something even simpler, with the Brazil international’s name included in a catchy ‘de de de de’ noise from Man Utd fans.
